Vue 5 Infinite from E-on software was released earlier this year, allowing creation of natural 3D environments - terrains, skies, trees, etc. It also allows import
of hi resolution models (human figures, cars, buildings, etc.) and animations integrated with other high end applications like 3D Max and Lightwave. Several SIG members
are getting into this program, whose advanced features seem well ahead of other competitors like long time favorite Bryce.
On the audio side, we auditioned many of the loops available in Magix' Sound Pool DVD, containing 10,000 loops in a dozen categories. It is fast, easy and fun to create
music, soundtracks, sound effects tracks, etc. using applications like Sony's Acid, a free version of which is available for download. We get into these topics and more at
our monthly meetings, with programs like Adobe Premiere and After Effects, Sony's Sound Forge, DivX compression, 3D animation, and more.
